Bio:
As a qualified and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Primary Teacher with over 13 years in education, I understand how important it is for every child to feel supported, understood, and confident in their learning. I’ve spent the last 6 years teaching children from Early Years through to Key Stage 4 in both special schools and inclusive mainstream settings, in two outstanding schools in the UK and in the UAE.
I specialise in teaching students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). My sessions are personalised and bespoke to the individual student, incorporating their strengths, interests and needs. I focus not only on the academic progress, but building functional, life and vocational skills that are meaningful and practical for everyday life, making learning meaningful and engaging.
Outside of teaching, I love to travel, explore new countries and cultures. I also enjoy being outside, walking, being active in the gym and swimming.
